Security Supply is pleased to announce the addition of Aaron Fowler as an outside sales representative. Aaron will oversee sales efforts on behalf of the New HaMpshire, Maine and Vermont regions. He previously worked for AlarMax Distributors, inc., serving as the company’s New Hampshire branch manager for 22 years.

Aaron comes to us with 23 years of experience in Low Voltage distribution, preceded by a career in both law enforcement and fire response. Aaron’s attention to his customer’s needs and the relationships he has forged because of this, make him a great fit to the Security Supply team.  This addition will allow us to continue to increase our ability to provide top notch service to northern New England, with Aaron focusing his efforts on Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.

Rick Gentile receives RIASCA Lifetime Achievement Award

Cranston, RI (May 16, 2014) Before a packed room at Chelo’s in Warwick, RI, Rick Gentile, a sales representative with Security Supply in Cranston, RI, was presented with the Rhode Island Alarm and Systems Contractors Association (RIASCA)’s first ever Lifetime Achievement Award. Rick joined the Association in 1978 and has been an active member ever since.

Presenting the award was David Cicchitelli from Mount Pleasant Alarms. In his acceptance speech Rick thanked those who have stood by his side through the years and encouraged the younger generation to get involved in the Association.

Rick is certainly deserving of this award as he has been a pioneer in the alarm and security industries for more than four decades,” said Thomas Reilly, General Manager of Security Supply.


Since 1981, Rick Gentile has been a fixture at the Security Supply offices in Cranston, RI. Along with his partner, Dick Olive, they started the business and built it up to where it is now. Rick recalls, “I spent a lot of time with customers, and came to know what they needed and how to get it for them. It was a great partnership—me, Dick and the customers.” Rick says what he has enjoyed most over four decades is teaching customers about new products which can help their business.
